JAWS Skim Reading Tol Behaving Strangely

Has anyone used the skim reading tool in jaws before? I can't seem to get it to find any of the attributes I want so I can just jump straight to them in the report I'm writing for work. It's fine when I get it to find specific words, and when it does eventually decide to work for attributes, it brings up several of the same thing. I thought it might be something to do with the settings on the work computer, but haven't had time to try it at home much. I'm running jaws 11 with advanced settings, but that shouldn't affect it and using xp professional and ms office 2003.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this or has anyone had a similar problem? I have e-mailed freedom Science Fiction, but won't get a reply until Monday because I'm not back in work until then.
Thanks for any ideas/suggestions.

OK. Got my answer from Freedom Science Fiction this morning. (The skim reading summary feature not working in the skim reading tool is a known issue in jaws and Freedom Scientific are working on this). Really? And for how long now???? *annoyed*

ok, point one. i hate when people miss name fs like that. call them what they are, and if you'd actually believe them we'd have a lot less problems. they have fixed some pretty large bugs with jaws 12, i've noticed that one myself so please stop acting like they do nothing

To be honest there's nothing really in jaws 12 that they've actually fixed, just the stupid settings centre. yes that bit will probably be useful for some people, but most people I asked to who have tried it just automatically go through the menus and find the stuff anyway.

Just the user center. How about braille input mode? DO you know how many consumers have wanted braille in put for a long time. To be able to control and write from a display is a very nice touch.

You could use a braille display with it anyway.

NO, now you can actually compose text from a braille display. Meaning I can write in grade 2 braille.
